Vallejo police arrested a woman Wednesday in connection to the robbery of the Bank of the West on Sept. 20, a police sergeant said. Sherri Aranetta Jones, 49, was arrested at her Vallejo home and booked into the Solano County jail on robbery charges, Lt. Jim O’Connell said. Police uncovered items related to the robbery in the home, O’Connell said.

Police initially described the suspect as a black male, approximately 45 years old, 5 feet 10 inches, 170 pounds and who might be missing some of his front teeth. Surveillance photos of the suspect who robbed the bank at 303 Sacramento St. were circulated and officers familiar with the neighborhood then identified Jones as a suspect, O’Connell said.
