* San Francisco Police Surround Alamo Square Where Wanted Suspect is Believed to be Hiding

San Francisco police this morning have surrounded a residence in the city’s Alamo Square neighborhood where a wanted suspect is believed to be hiding, a spokesman said. The standoff began at about 7:30 a.m. outside a residence in the 1300 block of Eddy Street, San Francisco police Sgt. Michael Andraychak said.

As of 10:15 a.m., police were trying to make contact with anyone inside the building and get him or her to come out, Andraychak said. No one has been injured, and more information on the suspect was not immediately available, Andraychak said.
