Three men were arrested late Thursday night for an armed home invasion robbery, a Vallejo police sergeant said. Vallejo and American Canyon police went to a home at 106 Cardinal Lane in Vallejo around 10:40 p.m. in response to a report of a home invasion robbery in progress, Vallejo police Sgt. The men held several residents at gunpoint, demanded money, jewelry and other items and threatened the residents, Coelho said. The men searched the house for several minutes and threatened to kill the residents if they did not cooperate. One of the men had money stolen from the victims when he was arrested Coelho said. Kenneth Ray Heinze, 25, of Medford, Ore., Richard Fondren, 20, of Grand Junction, Colo., and James Epperson, 52, of Ashland, Ore. were arrested on suspicion of first-degree robbery of an inhabited dwelling and booked into the Solano County jail.
