A would-be bank robber fled the scene empty handed Thursday after a teller refused to hand over any money, San Francisco police said today. The suspect entered a bank in the 2800 block of Geary Boulevard shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Thursday and demanded money from a teller, according to police. The teller refused and pressed the alarm button, causing the subject to flee with no money. Police arrested a suspect two blocks from the scene. A police spokesman said his name was not available as of this afternoon.
