A man was arrested in Suisun City after he attempted to burglarize a house and flee police this morning, police said. An officer responded to a report of a man heading into the back yard of a home in the first block of Coral Lane at about 8:20 a.m., police said. The officer spotted the suspect, Timothy White, 23, of Suisun City, and chased him down the street until he entered a home where he was staying, according to police. More officers arrived at the scene and surrounded the home, police said.
A person exited the front of the home as White fled out of the back, police said. White climbed over a fence and ran onto Chipman Lane where an officer detained him. White suffered minor injuries while attempting to evade the officers, according to police.
Officers located a broken window in the home where White attempted the burglary. White admitted to attempting to break in, police said. He was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary, resisting arrest, violation of a court order and for three outstanding arrest warrants.
