* Man Injured In East Oakland Shooting Late Sunday Night

A man was injured in a shooting in East Oakland late Sunday night, a police officer said. Around 11:05 p.m., a man in the 2000 block of Church Street was struck by gunfire, Officer J. Moore said. He was taken to a local hospital to be treated for a single gunshot wound and was in stable condition, Moore said. No suspect information in connection with the shooting was available as of 2:30 a.m.
