* One Person In Stable Condition After Saturday Evening Shooting In Fruitvile

One person was injured in a shooting in Oakland’s Fruitvale District Saturday evening, a police officer said. The shooting was reported around 6 p.m. near the intersection of 35th and Brookdale avenues, Officer J. Moore said. The victim, who suffered a gunshot wound, was taken to an area hospital in stable condition, Moore said. No suspect information was available this morning.
