Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred late Monday night in East Oakland, an Oakland police officer said. The shooting in the 2000 block of MacArthur Boulevard was reported at 10:20 p.m., according to police. A male adult was found with gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
No suspects have been identified or detained, according to police.
