San Jose police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man they believe robbed two Santa Clara County banks in the last month and attempted to rob a third. Investigators believe the man robbed a U.S. Bank at 1099 Lincoln Ave. in San Jose’s Willow Glen neighborhood on Aug. 28 and a U.S. Bank in Sunnyvale on Sept. 5. In both cases, the man entered the banks, demanded money and took off running with the stolen cash, police said. Police said the same man also entered a U.S. Bank in Sunnyvale on Aug. 27, but attracted attention for acting suspiciously and did not rob the bank. He is described as a white man who weighs about 190 pounds and stands 6 feet tall. He is between 25 and 30 years of age.
