* Monday Shooting In Menlo Park Leaves Bullets In Homes And Cars

Police in Menlo Park are investigating a shooting that occurred in the city on Monday evening. At about 6:30 p.m., officers responded to calls reporting several gunshots near the intersection of Newbridge and Carlton Avenues, according to Menlo Park police. Arriving officers found several bullet shell casings in the intersection and found that a nearby residence and vehicle had been struck with gunfire, police said. During the investigation, officers heard as many as five more gunshots near Carlton Avenue and Pierce Road, police said. Several vehicles were seen fleeing the area, but none were stopped and no arrests were made. Two other vehicles that had been shot were located in the 1100 block of Willow Road and the 800 block of Pierce Road. No one was injured. Police said no motive to the shooting had been determined.
