A woman suffered life-threatening injuries when she was shot near an Oakland elementary school this afternoon, police said. Police said the woman was shot while in a car in the 6900 block of Krause Avenue, near Markham Elementary School, shortly after 2 p.m. She was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police. No information about possible suspects was reported.
