* Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Seek Information In Shooting Of San Leandro Man

The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information in a shooting that left a 20-year-old San Leandro man dead early Sunday morning. Officers were called to an apartment at the 1100 block of Kentwood Lane in an unincorporated area near San Leandro at 12:15 a.m. Sunday, according to Sgt. J.D. Nelson. When officers arrived, they found the man, who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police continue to interview witnesses who were present at the scene, Nelson said. The Alameda County Coroner’s Office has not released the man’s name, pending notification of his next of kin.
