* Two DUI Arrests Made At Santa Rosa Police Checkpoint Friday Night

Two men were arrested for driving under the influence during a DUI/Drivers License checkpoint in downtown Santa Rosa Friday night, according to police. Police set up a checkpoint on Morgan and Fifth streets in Santa Rosa, near the Santa Rosa Plaza Shopping Center and the U.S. Highway 101 overpass. The two men arrested for driving under the influence were Stephen Jackson, 53, of Windsor, California and Jonathan Kane, 41, of Columbus, Ohio.

Jackson was released on a citation, while Kane was booked into the Sonoma County jail. Of the 665 vehicles that passed through the checkpoint, 26 unlicensed drivers and four drivers with suspended licenses were arrested, according to police.
