* U.S. Bank Robbery Caught on Tape, San Jose Police Release Photos

The San Jose Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the man in these surveillance photos. Detective Roger Semore reports that on 08/27/12 this subject entered the U.S. Bank in Sunnyvale wearing a gray SJSU zip-up hooded sweatshirt. He did not commit a robbery in this event but was reported as being suspicious.

On 8/29/12 the same subject entered the U.S. Bank at 1099 Lincoln Ave in San Jose wearing the same sweatshirt as above. He said he had a gun and demanded cash. The teller gave the subject cash from the register and he fled on foot.

On 9/5/12 the subject entered the U.S. Bank located at 1655 Hollenbeck Ave in Sunnyvale. He used a gun to force the teller to give him cash from the register and he fled on foot. The suspect is responsible for both robberies in Sunnyvale and San Jose.

A dark blue 2002 Volkswagon Jetta may be the getaway vehicle.
