Two men sustained gunshot wounds in a shooting in Antioch Tuesday evening, police said. Police were alerted to a shooting victim on Lemontree Way at 7:18 p.m. Upon arrival at the scene, police found a 31-year-old man suffering from a bullet wound. Witnesses reported that the shooting occurred in a nearby parking lot at 1118 Sycamore Drive.
Witnesses told police they saw several male adults in an altercation in the lot prior to shots being fired, police said. Witnesses told police that they believed two men had been shot and one had fled the scene, police said. Police searched local hospitals and found another shooting victim, a 24-year-old Antioch resident. Neither victim’s wounds are life threatening and the shooting remains under investigation, police said.
