* Shootings Injures One In East Oakland Yesterday Afternoon

One person was injured in a shooting in East Oakland this afternoon, an Oakland police officer said. The shooting in the 5300 block of Fairfax Avenue was reported at 4:27 p.m. Four people were shot at there, but only one was injured. The injured victim was transported to a hospital and is in stable condition tonight, according to police. Two armed suspects fled the scene in a vehicle.
