* Pair Robs Victim At Gunpoint Thursday Night

Police in El Cerrito are attempting to locate two suspects who allegedly robbed a victim at gunpoint Thursday night. A man was walking near the intersection of Conlon Avenue and Key Boulevard in El Cerrito around 9 p.m. when two suspects approached from behind, police said. Police said one of the suspects pointed a gun at the victim, threatened him and demanded his property. The suspects then took the victim’s wallet, cash and cell phone and fled the area on foot.

The victim was not injured in the robbery, and the suspects remain at large, police said. The armed suspect is described as a black man estimated to be about 25 years old, standing about 6 feet tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt at the time of the robbery, police said. The second suspect is described only as a Hispanic man who is also about 6 feet tall with a thin build, according to police.
