A large American flag was discovered stolen Tuesday from atop the Dairymen’s Feed building in Petaluma, according to police. The 10 feet by 15 feet flag had been suspended to a pole on the roof of the Dairymen’s Feed building at 323 E. Washington St., police said. The unknown suspect removed the flag by cutting the flag by the metal eyelets, which were attached to a rope, according to police said. The flag, which is valued at $500, was likely to have been stolen between 8:02 p.m. on Monday and 7:52 a.m. on Tuesday, police said.
