An armed robbery suspect who ran from officers earlier today remains at large after police called of a search of a San Jose neighborhood, according to police. Police responded to the robbery at a business in the 1600 block of Zanker Road at 11:09 a.m. today. Three suspects had robbed the business at gunpoint and fled in a white van.

Police spotted the van but when they attempted to stop it the suspects fled and police followed. Eventually the van was stopped near Kenmar Court and Ronco Drive, and two of the three suspects were arrested. The third suspect, described as a Hispanic man in his teens or early 20s, ran from police.

Police searched the area for several hours before calling off the search at about 4:30 p.m. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who spots the suspect should call 911 immediately, police said.
