Two men and two juveniles were arrested in Novato Sunday night in connection with an underage drinking bust, police said. On Sunday evening, underage decoys working with police asked a man to buy them alcohol at a gas station convenience store at 7473 Redwood Blvd., police said. The man gave the minor decoys alcohol and was immediately confronted by undercover officers. Police also determined that the suspect, Novato man Jesse Mattos, 37, had allegedly driven drunk to the convenience store. He was arrested on suspicion of furnishing alcohol to a minor and drunken driving, police said.

In another undercover sting Sunday night, police arrested a 25-year-old man who bought alcohol for minor decoys at the same convenience store. The suspect, identified as Marco Antonio Gomez, had an outstanding felony no-bail warrant out of Sonoma County. He was arrested for the warrant and for allegedly furnishing alcohol to minors. Later Sunday night, officers arrested a male minor who purchased alcohol using a fake ID at a business at 341 Enfrente Road for underage decoys working with police. As undercover officers approached him, they also saw the male giving alcohol to a female minor. Both minors were cited and released from the scene to their parents.
