A man was slashed in a fight at a Fremont pool hall Wednesday night, Fremont police said. A possible stabbing was reported Los Dos Amigos Billiards at 41057 Fremont Blvd. at 11:40 p.m., police said. When officers arrived they found a victim who was covered in blood and had cuts on his head. The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening. He was later released from the hospital.

An investigation into the assault revealed that the victim started the fight by chocking the suspect and then dragging him outside. The suspect later caught up with the victim and slashed him a few times with a small folding knife with a 4-inch blade, according to police. The suspect has not been found, police said. The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, about 22 years old, standing about 5 feet 2 inches with an average build. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, white tank top and jeans. He is presumed armed with the knife, police said.
