* East Oakland Shooting Ends With Victim Hospitalized In Critical Condition

A victim was injured in a shooting in East Oakland late Friday night, according to police. Police responded to the shooting in the 8700 block of Dowling Street at 11:55 a.m. One victim was transported to a local hospital in stable but critical condition, police said. The unknown suspect fled the scene of the shooting, police said.
