* Child Grazed By Bullet In West Oakland Shooting

A man was killed and a child was injured in a West Oakland shooting tonight, an Oakland police officer said. The shooting in the 700 block of Sycamore Street was reported at 8:03 p.m. A man was found there suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead tonight, Officer J. Moore said. A child suffered a graze wound and was transported to a separate hospital. He is in stable condition tonight, police said.
