* Two Injured In Late Night Shootings In Oakland

Two men were injured in two separate late night shootings in Oakland, a police officer said early this morning. The first shooting was reported at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday in the 7600 block of Ney Avenue, said Officer J. Moore. The man who was struck by the gunfire transported himself to a local hospital in stable condition.

Around 12:45 a.m., another man was shot in front of the Mills College campus at the intersection of Seminary Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard, Moore said. That victim was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition. No suspect information was available in connection with either shooting.
