* San Francisco Police Investigate A Stabbing Downtown

Police are investigating a stabbing in downtown San Francisco Thursday afternoon. Around 4 p.m. a male suspect stabbed a 51-year-old man in the 900 block of Geary Street. The victim was stabbed in his torso with a bladed instrument and transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said. Police are searching for the suspect, who has been described as a black male in his 40s.
