Union City police said today that they are investigating what caused the death of a man whose body was found at a park Thursday morning. Officers responded to Casa Verde Park at about 10:40 a.m. Thursday after passersby reported that an unresponsive man was lying on the grass there, a police spokeswoman said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The spokeswoman said the man has been identified but police aren’t releasing his name as of this afternoon. Police describe the man as appearing to be of Asian descent and in his 40s or 50s. The spokeswoman said investigators are trying to determine if foul play was involved in the man’s death.
