Police are investigating an armed robbery in San Francisco’s Inner Mission neighborhood early Thursday morning. The 27-year-old male victim was walking near the intersection of Valencia and 20th streets around 3 a.m. when a male suspect in his 40s started walking next to him. The suspect told the victim to put his backpack down and walk away, according to police. The victim complied, turned and saw the suspect pointing a handgun at him, police said.
