Police are investigating the shooting of a man in San Jose this afternoon. Police responded to emergency calls of a shooting in the 1500 block of South Winchester Boulevard at 2:32 p.m., according to police. A Hispanic man in his 20s was found on the scene suffering from at least one gunshot wound, police said.
The victim’s condition was not immediately available. No arrests have been made, police said. The shooting comes a day after San Jose recorded its 25th and 26th homicides of the year.
On Monday, a woman was stabbed to death at 6:31 p.m. and 38-year-old Martin Chacon was fatally shot at 1:40 p.m.
