A 19-year-old man was injured and a Tri Delta Transit bus was struck in a shooting in Antioch on Tuesday evening, police said today. Officers initially responded at 7:44 p.m. to reports of a large fight in the 700 block of L Street, then a report of shots being fired and someone being down, according to police. Arriving officers found the victim lying in the street with several gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, police said. The Tri Delta Transit bus was traveling north on L Street without any passengers on board when it was struck, according to police. Investigators do not know who shot the victim or what led to the shooting.
