* San Jose Police Arrest Youth For Burglarizing Home

One of a group of suspects is in juvenile hall today on suspicion of burglarizing a residence in San Jose Saturday evening. Police received word of the burglary in the 500 block of McCreery Avenue just after 5:45 p.m. and arrived as suspects fled on foot. Patrol officers, officers from the Metro unit and K9 unit, and a police helicopter all searched for the suspects and arrested one juvenile. The suspect, who was also wanted for charges related to an assault on an officer, was booked into juvenile hall.
