The San Jose Police Department is currently investigating the City’s 25th homicide of 2012. On Monday, August 13th, at approximately 1:39 P.M., the San Jose Police Department’s 9-1-1 call center received a report of shots being fired in the area of Oakland Rd. / Charles St. in San Jose. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim that had been shot at least once. The male was seated in a vehicle. The San Jose Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the case. The motive behind the homicide remains under investigation. No suspects have been arrested in this case. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending coroner notifications to the next of kin.
