* Armed And Masked Robbery Of Gilroy Walmart By Woman Demanding Prescription Drugs

Police are searching for an armed, masked woman who robbed a Super Walmart store of prescription drugs in Gilroy Friday night, police said. Around 9 p.m. the suspect entered the store at 7150 Camino Arroyo and headed to the pharmacy area where she demanded prescription drugs, police said. The suspect threatened the clerk indicating she was armed with an unknown weapon, which was concealed in her sweatshirt, according to police.

The woman left the Super Walmart store with undisclosed prescription drugs, but she did not take any money, police said. Police said the suspect was last seen in the front parking lot walking south in the direction of Pacheco Pass Highway after the robbery. No one was injured during the robbery and the suspect is still at large, police said. The suspect was described as a white woman, with blonde hair, between the ages of 55 and 65 years old, about 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing between 120 and 130 pounds. The suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and gray pants. She was wearing a blue surgical facemask over her mouth and nose during the robbery, police said.
