Police in Redwood City have arrested three men suspected of beating another man with a bottle in a Mexican restaurant last month. Officers went to Tacos El Grullense at 768 Woodside Road on a report of an assault on July 21 at about 1 a.m., according to Redwood City police. Surveillance video and witness statements revealed that three men had entered the bar area of the restaurant and attacked a 34-year-old Redwood City man, police said.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment and later released. Investigators identified three suspects in the case: Juan Carlos Madera, 30, Jonathan Fuentes, 22, and Robert Gallegos, 29, all of Redwood City. The three were arrested this morning without incident and booked into San Mateo County Jail on suspicion of attempted murder and participating in a criminal street gang.
