* Suspected Car Thief In San Mateo Runs Into Highlands Neighborhood

The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect who fled from a stolen vehicle on Interstate Highway 280 this morning. At about 6 a.m., the suspect ran into the Highlands neighborhood near Bunker Hill Drive, according to the sheriff’s office. He was described as a black man in his mid 20s, around 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing around 140 pounds.
