* Police Searching For Two Suspects In Connection With Armed Robbery Of Watsonville Bakery

Police are investigating an armed robbery of a bakery in Watsonville on Wednesday night, police said. The armed robbery was reported at about 8:30 p.m. at La Santa Cruz Bakery on 716 East Lake Ave., according to police. Two suspects wearing ski masks to cover their faces approached a female cashier and a male customer, police said. One suspect, speaking in Spanish, demanded cash from the cashier, according to police. The other suspect pointed a pistol at the customer, police said.

The suspects fled the scene on foot after taking an undetermined amount of cash, police said. They have not been located, according to police. No one was injured in the robbery, police said.
