A person was found fatally injured this morning in Oakland, a police spokeswoman said. Police responded to calls around 2 a.m. in the 2800 block of Summit Street, the officer said. Police reported the person dead on arrival, the spokeswoman said. The officer did not have any further information immediately available, she said. Police are still investigating.
