* One Injured In Western Addition Shooting This Afternoon

At least one person was injured in a shooting in San Francisco’s Western Addition neighborhood this afternoon, a fire department spokeswoman said. The shooting was reported at 12:34 p.m. near Eddy and Steiner streets.

At least one person was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with a gunshot wound, fire spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said. She did not know the extent of the victim’s injuries. Police have not yet released more information about the shooting.
