The San Jose Police Department is currently investigating the City’s 21st and 22nd homicides of 2012.  On Monday, July 23rd, at approximately 4:21 A.M., the San Jose Police Department’s 9-1-1 call center received a report of shots being fired in the 300 block of N. 7th Street in San Jose.  Upon arrival, officers located a residence they believed to be involved.

Officers entered the residence and located two homicide victims.  Both victims had been shot and were pronounced dead at the scene.  Officers located three children that live in the residence  unharmed.  The suspect(s) were gone upon police arrival.

The San Jose Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the case.  The motive behind the homicides remains under investigation.  No suspects have been arrested in this case.  Both victims’ identities are being withheld pending positive identification by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner’s Office.
