A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of killing his father during an argument Monday evening in Richmond, a police spokeswoman said. Christopher Morris was arrested in connection with the shooting death of his father, 41-year-old James Morris, reported around 7 p.m. in the residence they shared in the 3000 block of Sun Court, Lt. The father and son were arguing and struggling over a gun before the weapon was fired and struck the father, French said. James Morris was later pronounced dead at the scene. Several others were also inside the home when the shooting occurred. After interviewing the suspect and witnesses, Christopher Morris was arrested on possible homicide charges, French said.
