Police have arrested two robbery suspects and are searching for two additional suspects who may have fled from a getaway car prior to a vehicle pursuit in Oakland Monday afternoon, a police spokeswoman said. The vehicle pursuit ended with two robbery suspects being taken into custody sometime before 1 p.m., Officer Johnna Watson said. The two at-large suspects are believed to have fled the car just before the chase began, Watson said.

Watson said the chase ended in a crash near the 66th Avenue on-ramp to Interstate Highway 880. The two detained suspects, whose names haven’t been released, were questioned by police Monday afternoon. Watson did not immediately have information about the robbery.
