The Napa County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Vallejo man and is looking for two more suspects in connection with several auto burglaries at Lake Berryessa last Saturday. The burglaries occurred between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday at a parking area known as Party Point along state Highway 128 near the Monticello Dam in Napa County, sheriff’s Capt. Tracey Stuart said.
Recently there have been several other window-smash car burglaries around Lake Berryessa, Stuart said. Matthew Allen, 46, was arrested at 7:45 a.m. Thursday at his Vallejo residence on suspicion of burglary, attempted auto theft, transportation of methamphetamine and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, Stuart said.
The sheriff’s office is close to identifying the two remaining suspects but needs help from the public, Stuart said. The sheriff’s office released a photo of the two suspects wearing black T-shirts who are associated with Allen, and a photo of a white 2000 Ford Expedition towing a blue and white boat believed to be connected to the suspects.
