* Man Shot and Killed in Visitacion Valley in San Francisco

A 21-year-old man was fatally shot in San Francisco’s Visitacion Valley neighborhood on Sunday evening, police said today. The shooting was reported at 7:18 p.m. in the 1700 block of Sunnydale Avenue.  The victim, whose name was not being released by the medical examiner’s office as of late this afternoon, was standing in front of a house when he was shot multiple times in the head and torso, according to police.  The man was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. No arrests had been made in connection with the shooting as of this afternoon and no suspect information was immediately available.
