Two people were shot and one stabbed at a house party in a rural hilly area east of San Jose early this morning, a Santa Clara County sheriff’s spokesman said. County emergency dispatchers received a 911 call at 2:14 a.m. from someone reporting hearing gunshots coming from a home in the 4000 block of Higuera Highland Lane where a large party was being held, sheriff’s spokesman Jose Cardoza said.

Sheriff’s deputies responded and found a large crowd at the house, then located two gunshot victims and one stabbing victim. All three were taken to hospitals and are expected to survive, Cardoza said. Investigators were unable to get information on what happened from the people at the party, and no arrests have been made.
