A man who was fatally shot in San Francisco’s Visitacion Valley neighborhood on Thursday night has been identified by the medical examiner’s office as 21-year-old Angelo Kyer. Kyer, a San Francisco resident, was found shot at about 9:50 p.m. Thursday in the 1800 block of Sunnydale Avenue, police said.

He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital and was pronounced dead upon arriving there, according to police.  The fatal shooting was the second in less than two days in the neighborhood. At 5:26 a.m. Wednesday, 22-year-old Pinole resident Darius Williams was found shot in the 100 block of Blythdale Avenue, about two blocks from where Kyer was shot.  Police did not immediately say this afternoon whether the shootings are related or if anyone had been arrested in either case.
