Two victims were shot in separate East Oakland shootings on Thursday night and early this morning but their injuries were not severe, Oakland police said. Police responded to the first shooting in the 8900 block of MacArthur Boulevard at 10:26 p.m. Thursday. A victim was found there suffering from at least one gunshot wound and was transported to a hospital in stable condition, police said.

Another shooting was reported near the corner of 77th and Bancroft avenues around 1 a.m. today, police said. That victim was also in stable condition at a hospital this morning, police said. No suspect information was immediately available in connection with either shooting as of this morning, according to police.
