Napa police arrested a 29-year-old man suspected of committing an act of domestic violence and holding a woman against her will Friday night, police said. Officers responded to the 1500 block of Pueblo Avenue just before 7 p.m. after receiving a report of a domestic violence incident.
Officers spoke with the victim, who reported that she and Jose Rolando Gonzalez were arguing when he grabbed her arms and neck, inflicting visible injuries, police said. Rojas allegedly prevented the victim from leaving a bedroom at the home and from calling police, according to authorities. Police located Rojas at the scene and placed him under arrest. He was booked at local jail on suspicion of domestic violence and false imprisonment, police said.
