Two suspects were arrested after allegedly robbing an East Oakland business and then shooting at the owner on Wednesday night, police said. The suspects entered a store in the 5800 block of International Boulevard at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday to rob the store at gunpoint.

When the owner followed the two suspects out of the store, one of them fired a gun at him but did not hit him, police said. Later, an Alameda County sheriff’s deputy spotted the suspects’ vehicle in the area of 73rd Avenue and Holly Street.  Both suspects were arrested, police said. Their names were not immediately being released this morning.
