* Comerica Bank at 7915 San Miguel Canyon Road robbed in Prunedale

The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two suspects who robbed a Prunedale bank at gunpoint on Saturday. Deputies responded to reports of an armed robbery at the Comerica Bank at 7915 San Miguel Canyon Road at about 9:20 a.m., according to the sheriff’s office.

Two armed suspects wearing gray hooded sweatshirts entered the bank and ordered employees and customers to the ground, according to the sheriff’s office. The suspects then jumped over the counter and stole an unknown amount of money from the teller drawers. They were last seen fleeing the area on foot.
