The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office remains completely focused on locating Sierra LaMar and determining who is responsible for her disappearance. Investigative resources from the Sheriff’s Office Detective Division in collaboration with multiple local and federal agencies continue to follow-up on leads.
Sheriff’s Investigators have submitted items of evidence which have been processed by the County Crime Lab and State Crime Lab, many of which have been determined not to be associated to the case, such as an empty handcuff box and used condoms. However, information developed by Sheriff’s Investigators, supported by forensic examination and County Crime Lab reports, has assisted in furthering the investigation. We are still awaiting additional Lab results.
Witnesses combined with investigative review of video surveillance sources have identified a vehicle similar to the make and model below as being associated to Sierra’s disappearance.
