Three juveniles were arrested this morning after burglarizing multiple Pleasant Hill homes, police said today. Police got a call around 9:50 a.m. of three suspicious people who were seen looking over fences in a residential neighborhood near Byron Court and Stevenson Drive, police said. Officers responding to the call found one juvenile near the intersection of Oak Park Boulevard and Stevenson Drive.
Police then determined that the other two suspects were burglarizing a home in the 1900 block of Oak Park Boulevard. Officers set up a perimeter around the home and apprehended one juvenile who tried to flee from the home through a window, police said.
The second suspect was confronted inside the home and taken into custody. The suspects — two 14-year-olds and a 13-year-old — were arrested and booked into Juvenile Hall. Investigators found that the trio had burglarized at least one other home this morning.
All three are Bay Point residents who attend Pleasant Hill schools, police said. Police credited the person who reported the suspicious behavior for the arrests and ask anyone with additional information about the burglaries to contact the Pleasant Hill Police Department at (925) 288-4630.
